A new gathering in Madrid brought together community leaders, artists and experts in coexistence to celebrate the World Day for Cultural Diversity. The meeting included a representative of the Bahá’í Community of Spain, a specialist from the Madrid Municipal Police Diversity Management Unit, flamenco artist Tito Losada, a Roma guitarist and composer, and human rights educator Denise González. Speakers presented personal, cultural and institutional perspectives on how education can help build more inclusive communities.
During the event, participants addressed themes such as religious freedom, intercultural coexistence and human dignity. Ivan Arjona, representative of the Church of Scientology to European and international institutions, said that cultural and religious diversity contributes to democratic life when accompanied by mutual understanding and responsibility.
